ABOUT THE 2019 HYUNDAI ACCENT

Offering interior roominess that rivals a sedan with ample seating for five, the 2019 Hyundai Accent is a subcompact car that packs a punch. This model offers three trim levels, each with front-wheel drive with a 6-speed manual w/O or two 6-speed automatic w/OD, along with a 1.6-liter I-4 that produces 130 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 37 MPG highway.

SAFETY AND CONNECTIVITY FEATURES

For added protection, the SE trim features a standard review camera and 5-inch color LCD touch screen with tilt steering wheel with audio. The SEL and Limited trims offer a 7-inch camera, with the latter featuring a Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist** that will detect vehicle taillights located near the front of the vehicle.

Interior and Exterior Styling

The Accent features three trim levels: the SE, SEL and Limited. 15 and 17-inch alloy wheels are available along with seven exterior colors. The Limited offers aluminum wheels and heated seats for added comfort during winter driving and a sun/moon roof that can be enjoyed during the warmer season. A leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a touch of luxury.

Awards and Accolades

In 2018, the Hyundai Accent was recognized by J.D. Power in the Quality and Dependability categories. For 2019, the IIHS awarded the Accent with the Top Safety Pick (when the optional LED headlights and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. Additionally, the Accent received the highest rating for frontal crash prevent testing.
